i think you are confused with Catalan.
Castellano is another way of saying Spanish, however in Spain the term usually refers to Castilian Spanish. (IE: A film that says it is dubbed in Castellano is dubbed in the Spanish spoken in Spain and not Mexican Latin American Spanish)
