Too lazy to tear them off? Thinking that the luggage crew didn't have any update the last years? Or do they really work better than the new priority tags, i.e. first on the belt?

Clearly it can't be to show off. Elites do know that there is a new system in town, and non-elites don't give about the tag (I surmise).

Personally, I think it is rather pathetic to have the tag still in use. That said, I realize that I think an awful lot of people must be pathetic, based on the numbers of old tags around.

So, who is still using them?
I have the last tag issued (2003) on my carryon and refuse to remove it!

Ahh...brings back memories of this thread.
