777 front washroom for crew only?..In Charge offers poor customer service.
Sept 14, HKG to YYZ we were told by the in charge that the front washroom was for crew only. Seems a little strange to have only 2 washrooms for 42 passengers. He did not introduce himself to any of the J pasengers, when boarding he had all the passengers in the G and K walk down the first isle and come up thru the mid galley. (There was one person in the front galley getting things ready). No smiles or eye contact... to be honest I think good service starts from the top, and overall the service was quite flat... not memorable at all. The attitude of the incharge towards the passengers and his expectations of the service level from their crew really sets the tone. He clearly couldnt care less about what type of service the passengers were receiving. On de-planing he was standing on the bridge speaking loudly into his cell phone. Its a shame as Air Canada now has a great product with the 777 ...(althought the blue lights in the pods is too bright!!..but thats another thread)... they have the chance to offer great service and be truly world class.
