If you click Advanced Search at the bottom you will see the default is to show only AA metal flights. There is an option that adds oneworld carriers and one that lists all carriers.

the Advanced search option is only available for non-award reservation, I can see the flight to PEK under the first "round-trip" reservation tab, and when I use the last AAward tab, the same search returns
"No American, American Eagle, or American Connection service is provided between the cities requested. Please contact AAdvantage Reservations for Award opportunities on AAdvantage participating airlines."
seems AA doesn't want us use non AA flights with their miles on their website...
