I'm feeling like a right idiot at the moment. I spent 3 hours in the Sakura lounge last weekend and was never aware there was an "upper floor" with food etc. Certainly nothing was said at the concourse-level entrance about it. (Although in retrospect I was busy having a BP issued by the desk - different staff from the lounge receptionists, but same desk - so maybe I didn't get the full spiel on the lounge.)
The part (lower floor only) that I did use was quite pleasant, but I recall thinking the food/bev selection was pretty minimal given this ought to be JL's premier business-class lounge, and I almost bugged out to the AC.
My JL flight (NRT-YVR) was on an ancient 747 bound for Mexico, with cr@p seats, so I could really have used the robotic massage chairs. Shoot. Coulda woulda shoulda.
