So, as a RA, you just need to book a deluxe room to make sure you have access to the lounge.

When I stayed two nights at the IC Park Lane in April 2007, the "lounge was not yet ready", despite a mail confirmation. Some renovation works were still in progress in the lower floors (with noise beginning at 9 am), I was blocked in the lift, and someone entered my room ... at midnight to "check if the shelf of the closet was properly fixed" (?!)

So I must say that this first experience at the newly refurbished IC was not exactly good.

As compensation, I have got a two night voucher for a next stay in a junior suite.

Concerning the hotel, I cannot really say that the renovation is brilliant: the neo modern art lobby bar is really ugly; the lobby is too small to be stunning.

The junior suite are quite small too (and the wooden wall make them even smaller), but they are comfortable, very calm and well equipped. I got a very nice view on Hyde Park.

The staff is very international, young, somewhat not so experienced, but nice.

The Cookbook Café serves nice Mediterranean food and great buffet breakfast, in a calm and light environment.
Actually I believe it has been posted that lounge access is not granted when your suite is an upgrade. This could have changed though.
