If ya book online you can play with the times and arrange for a pickup time of your choice. Plus you can use one of the several promo codes (AMEX, entertainment book) and save a couple bucks.

fwiw, back in late July, i flew DL out of JFK on a Saturday at 8AM, and the security lines were THE WORST i've EVER seen.
