What in the heck is wrong with you guys? Is every one pissed off? Who is happy at work? I would rather be at home spending time with my family after winning 100 million on the lottery. I go to work, do my job the best I can, insure that I get home alive to see my three kids, get off the aircraft and forget about work until the next day. The job is what it is. I fly all the time and sit were I am told to sit. I can give rats AS_ if I sit in coach, 1st class or the lavatory. I get paid the big bucks for the one second I may have to draw my weapon in 20 years as a FAM. I really don’t care what any of you negative people have to say. I am in the process of completing my master’s degree and laughing all the way to the deans list. I like the job and some times dislike it because of all the airline delays. There are thousands of people who are in line for my job and I know that. I am proud to be one of the true working FAMs who have been doing it for close to six years. I took this job because I was mad as hell after 9/11. I was a deputy sheriff and wanted to do my part in fighting these idiots who attacked us on 9/11. I dealt with the scum of the earth when I was on road patrol and have no interest in doing that again. You guys read too much into my last posting and I guess I should have read it again before I posted it. I was in a rush but I am not asking for anyone’s apology. Get a life and remember I pay taxes also. I served my county prodly 3 years active duty in the Navy anf then 4 years active duty in the Army as a MP. I am now serving my country to insure these idiots do not try and hijake the aircraft I am working on. If any of you think I am just sitting on my rear all day just sucking up the airline peanuts then you are wrong. I work out 4 times week , attend ground fighting school, run 3 miles every other day, and eat healthy. I not only do this for me but for all of you so that I am ready for that idiot who pops up on a plane with a weapon and yells “This is a hijacking!”. We can argue all day long about if this will every happen but I will be ready. I am a true American to the bone and am proud of my job.
