Ok. the refundable tkt that you purchased with another tkt is the one I'm talking about, the $1000 is it coming from a domestic flight or International? If it's international the original issue date will remain as the expiration date. The new voucher as stated by you will be valid one yr from the date of issue of the voucher.

But Yes once the refundable tkt is issued you don't have to pay the ASC again.
