Really odd, I had been in Docklands since before first light on a photo job, didn't see any fog at all.
Moved on to Greenwich and took
this shot at 09:10, prior to taking that, for 15 mins I had been leaning on the railings at Greenwich Pier watching the aircraft depart LCY. What fog there was must have been well to the east, they were coming in from that direction and it must have been causing problems on the approach.
