From what I recall, the text messges aren't very informative. Got one a while back when my CPT-LHR was delayed. It just said flight delayed. Had to ring BA in the US to find out it was 4 hours! But we were told to go and check-in as normal - Grrrrrr!

Did you not call BA when you got up in the morning?
