No, dorky would be asking people to calculate and post their median mileage per flight segment. And I doubt too many people would know how to do it (although it probably wouldn't yield a very different number -- there are well defined maximum and minimum miles per segment possible, and a small spread in range)
I could do it - statistics was one of the few truly useful things I took in grad school. It would be cool to correlate the numbers for various cities. Mmmmm . . . I'm getting a warm
