Depends on the hotel itself, i think.
Here in Germany we have 5 Star Superior ICs like Cologne Duesseldorf and especially Berchtesgaden, which are about very new and have great guest service which is absolute luxurious. But we also have properties in Hamburg and Frankfurt, which look more like a Holiday inn.... old, a litle shabby and sometimes bad service.
But there are also good and bad Hyatt Regencys and Ritz Carltons out there.
I always decide from town to town what Hotel i take, aometime its a westin,
ritz, interconti, or hyatt....
