I'll be passing through Changi in December and am considering staying at the airport transit hotel but I'm not clear on some things.

I'm flying JetStar from Phuket and arrive in the evening. I have an early-morning flight on Northwest the next day. Obviously, my bags won't be checked all the way through and I will have to retrieve them at the baggage claim.

How soon will I be able to check-in for my NW flight? I'd like to be able to arrive at Changi, grab my bags, go through immigration, check-in with NW, go through security, check-in at the transit hotel. Is this possible?
