Check out this thread for some examples. By the time you reach post 381 or so, it becomes clear what's going on!!! Since the miles posted on 9/11, it looks like your wife rented from Avis or Budget and included her SkyMiles account number. The other possibility is that she had a two or more night stay at a Hilton family hotel and included her SkyMiles number with the reservation.
