No, I did read you were there on business. Just no tourist (in the truest sense of the word) in his right mind would stay in Surrey. There are zero sites of interest to a tourist.

There is no "against" traffic... didn't matter coming or going. Vancouver has a traffic problem face it or don't who cares.
I've gone against traffic to Surrey and back lots of times. Driving is always a breeze with virtually no traffic. I suspect Bisbee, AZ has far less traffic even in rush hour, though.

$150 night Gov rate at a Hilton property (decent enough) best one the customer would pay for anyway.
Only Hilton property in Surrey is the HI. Hardly high end when that's a Hilton 'value' <cough> property.

$100/2 before tips oh yeah and taxes! without drinks should bring a decent meal pretty much anywhere. At least in most major US cities.
I thought we were talking high end. Just going to The Keg runs you $50/person and calling it casual dining is a stretch. High end restaurants in major US cities I've been to are at least $100 per person for just food.

Anyway....... done with visiting..... this thread!
If you can't stand the heat...
