Yes, it's quite full on Fridays in my experience. In June and July it was extremely overbooked on Fridays. I meet a fair number of people who make sure to book it (and the return on 917 early in the morning) because they enjoy the 3-cabin 763; even in E- the personal TVs are worth it for people on a flight of that length.

The last day 916/917 fly the 763 is Oct. 27th, coincidentally when the new seats come out. I can only presume this frees up a slot to refurb another one.

In the past (2005), the 763 would only be used in the summer. Last year they kept it through most of the off-season with occasional regression to the 752. I would think they will do the same this year esp. with the new seat installs going on. When summer comes around, will they put the 3-class back with new seats? Im just not too confident of that.
Yeah, I'm not too confident with the seat totals decreasing.

I'm almost a little surprised that with all the price discrimination (and United leading the way with charging for E+) that there aren't different somewhat higher prices for the 3-cabin 763 on the same route.
