I stayed there for 3 nights a few weeks ago. Overall experience was quite pleasant. Relatively new hotel, staff were friendly and had no issue with me checking in at about 10am after arriving in from the US.
Where do you need to be in London? I stayed there because I had a car and needed to spend some of the time in the city and the rest of the time further out - the hotel is just outside the congestion charge zone so it's quite convenient for that.
About a 5min walk to the tube station (Kilburn Park, in Zone 2) and it was about a 30min journey door to door to where I was working in Holborn. The area around the hotel isn't particularly upmarket, but definitely safe. There's also a small Tesco convenience store a few mins away which is open quite late.
Overall it wasn't a bad experience, and definitely a lot cheaper than some of the other Marriott hotels in London.
Hope this helps!
