My Dad was cool about it - at 6'4" and 80 yrs old he was just glad to have the legroom (3A) but still..... I'm pretty unhappy that what was supposed to be a treat was a real drag. I do think that you should be given some compensation for lack of catering. The fact that the pax agreed to leaving makes this a nice double edge sword. Also, to assume that they were in fact VIP's is, of course, only an assumption unless its proven. There are so many possibilities for this that we could argue all year.

And legroom in seat 3A on an MD80? Maybe its just me, but I'd rather be in Y over 3A
