For the record, I've been to Vancouver twice and enjoyed it very much. I do not enjoy the often smug, condescending attitudes some Canadians have toward Americans. It's the only country I've been to (and I've traveled extensively in Europe and also been to Australia, Asia and South America) where I've been criticized right out of the box because of my nationality.
To Canadians who act that way: Get over yourselves. It's tiresome.
