Err... $150/night and $100/meal is low-rent for a high-end travel destination. Even $150/night in Surrey is low for the summer. Where'd you stay? The Days Inn?

Forget my suggestion of staying in Vancouver. You'd never find a high-end hotel for that price.
Yeah there's that polite thing again..... I guess you didn't read that we were there on business.

There is no "against" traffic... didn't matter coming or going. Vancouver has a traffic problem face it or don't who cares. Being at a job site on time for my husband's project is much more important than mine. $150 night Gov rate at a Hilton property (decent enough) best one the customer would pay for anyway. You'd think with all those taxes they'd be more generous wouldn't you? ... and $200ish for the Hilton Resort in Whistler (off season) not Gov because that was on us. Which was a great room... just the $56 breakfast that s*cked.

$100/2 before tips oh yeah and taxes! without drinks should bring a decent meal pretty much anywhere. At least in most major US cities.

Anyway....... done with visiting..... this thread!
