I'm not suggesting a conspiracy, at least an official one. However, we can't dispute that UA employees have a rather aggressive entitlement to premium class seating when on employee travel - more aggressive than any other domestic airline I'm aware of. Why else has UA's own customers labeled the C cabin as "Employee Class"?

My view is 'guilty, based on the evidence provided'. Too much evidence points to this being an action taken by the GA (and possibly the pilot) to single out and remove a 'seemingly defenseless' customer who might not fight back. Truthfully, I concur the evidence is circumstantial and one could argue the other way - hence, we should leave it up to UA management to investigate.

I don't expect anyone from UA is going report back on what, if any disciplinary action was taken - however, I can say that on our CO forum, when someone has been wronged, our CO Insider has no problem posting a confirmation that the customer was wronged, and often includes a basic comment on why/how it happened - however no personnel or disciplinary activities are ever posted, outside of a generic suggestion that additional training will be provided. I don't see why that can't be done here.

I'm sure the readers of this thread, myself included, would be quite satisfied to know either the lady was a NRSA (no harm done) or a customer - and confirmation she was wronged and will be contacted to offer compensation. I don't need to know if the GA involved will be retrained, smacked, dragged behind an angry bull or forced to handwax all the A320s in the fleet.
