And which instances are those for Air NZ?
That certainly is not the case for booking a domestic Air NZ ticket on the Air NZ sites for Canada, the US or UK. If you start from those sites, you can't see or buy any of the low price Smart Saver for NZ domestic itineraries. However the other, non-Smart Saver fare types that do get quoted are quoted in $NZ and are exactly the same $NZ prices as what the NZ site offers.
All the Canada, US and UK sites do for you is 1) stop you from saving money by buying Smart Savers and 2) convert prices in to CAD, USD or GBP at the very end.
It's hard to tell what the Air NZ EU booking site does as it's still using ITN and it's still very broken.
