I saw that web page too!

RichardInSF - I don't think online check-in is an option at all when you have a priority SSR on your PNR (i.e. when you have a code flagging a disability on your ticket details). I haven't been able to call the seatmaps on AZ for weeks, I wouldn't trust their online checking in facility anyway.

The concensus now is that as I'll be greeted by someone at NRT on arrival I can grill them about the procedure.
Awaiting to hear from Wa-shoi! about their dropping off points.

Anyway, the whole thing is starting to seem a little clearer now. Thanks very much everyone! I'll report back on how it went.
