I posted a thread a little while back and got some help and was able to find a route while will give me enough miles. Now I have a question about connection times and would appreciate any help.

I am looking to fly Continental from SMF to IAH to PHL and back. The IAH to PHL flight is on a 737-300 and arrives at 1:23PM. There is a flight from PHL to IAH at 2:07PM and another at 3:30PM (both on 737-300's).

I would like to know if there is a way to find out if the 2:07PM plane is the one that arrived at 1:23PM (thus ensuring I won't miss my connection). Otherwise I'd like some opinions on if the 43 minutes connection time is sufficient.

Making the 2:07PM flight from PHL gets me back home 3 hours earlier and thus is highly desirable
