BKK-NRT does seem heavily booked this month. However, I have never received an op-up or bump departing from BKK -- has anyone else? (from NRT to BKK is a different story.) Maybe its because I don't get to the BKK airport until 5am for the 6am flight, and so they've already bumped people or identified volunteers before I arrive?
We got an op-up in the reverse direction, when NW still had a 747. As we, my, children and I, handed our BPs, they beeped and the GA handed us new BPs. I didn't even know we had been upgraded. We were originally in row 25 and 26 window and aisle. After we sellted down, I looked at the BPs, that row 10 and 11 J and K. That's when I realised we had been op-uped.
