I logged on to book a flight for my parents and didn't change my FF #(US Gold), when I realized my mistake and removed my number it wouldn't allow me to choose preferred seats - as it shouldn't.

Anyway, I put my number back and booked the tix giving them preferred seating. When will US notice? At the airport? Didn't want the folks to get middle seats transcon, but don't want to get in trouble either...
