I think the car companies should charge more for smoking cars. It reduces the value of the car to have burns in the seats/etc.. plus the smell of the smoke does not fully come out of the car which reduces resale value. More or less the non-smoking consumers subsidize the "damage" that the smokers do to the cars. I personally think that if you had cars that allowed smoking that they should cost more to rent. The car companies should penalize people who smoke in non-smoking cars.
