Initially we were kind of bugged but then also put ourselved in the MCO passengers place and would have certainly appreciated the gesture. Again, it ended up only being an 1 1/2 hour delay and in the grand scheme of things, not a big deal. It was a little get-away weekend so not not a big deal for us.
The one comment we did make was that clearly someone in headquarters was thinking outside of the box. Oh, and sadly all the MCO passengers had C boarding cards!
Seriously, even the flight crew was surprised. They said they were only advised when they landed. They also maintained a positive attitude. Overall, I didn't hear anyone complain or make a big deal.
