I love the foreign BA crews. They are a real asset and I am always delighted to meet them on my travels. They are a tangible commitment to BA's position as a global airline. I think a large contingent of French crew on a CDG-JFK service would be a good idea. After all, a large percentage of the pax are going to be French.
I agree, you want to try and keep a mix of some British crew; not least to ensure service consistency accross the brand. I like
adrianjc32's idea of running a LHR-CDG-JFK service.

The short answer to that is, yes. I have met foreign based crews who work for GB Airways and mainline. Without exception, they have been hardworking, friendly and a tribute to BA. I think you'll find that most pax are not quite as xenophobic as you might think.
