I admit I don't use LCY at all often - out of choice!
Last time I was there I had a long line at security snaking all round the upstairs area. That was on a Thursday evening around 5.30pm.
Also I'd rather sit in LCY and look at the dock and planes than stuck in the Terraces, or the giant shopping mall that is Heathrow.
Well, I would certainly prefer the Terraces lounge with plenty to read and drink, a reasonable sense of peace most of the time, and somewhere to sit down. When I last used LCY the option of "sit in LCY and look..." didn't exist as all the seats were taken.
