Vendor problems seem to be "selective"... what would they do if there was a problem with the supplier of toilet paper? Exactly. How many other airlines have problems with the paper for their menus? Or the noise cancelling headsets? Or the adapter ports for the laptops?
As for the hot towels, I've seen them "unused" in their packaging on certain flights sitting in the galley. I've also seen chocolate boxes never offered to the pax and then given to a "Friend" at the end of the flight. But I figure that really, the hot towels are made from used menu scraps, and with no more menus, ... well, you get the picture.
