On my last flight from MUC I noticed during OLCI that I had the option to upgrade to CE so I took advantage of an u/g for £30. I wish I hadn't bothered!

After upgrading I couldn't continue with my OLCI so went to MUC and tried the SSCI which couldn't process my booking. Went to the desk and was told that I now had two bookings. The poor chap tried to sort out the mess but after 15 minutes sent me across to the BA sales desk. The lady at the desk explained that BA hadn't processed my payment and they couldn't collect in pounds in Germany. I watched her try every combination of codes to get my booking accepted and she was getting more and more frustrated. I offered to forget about the u/g but she was determined

Finally after more than 20 minutes she managed to get my payment processed and issue with me with a BP. On my next trip I think I'll stay in ET.
