Ambassador status at IC is more is less equivalent to Gold (NOT Platinum) at Starwood. If you want to compare treatment on the basis of equivalent levels, you'd have to be Royal Ambassador with IC. Or ask around to find out what happens when you check into a Starwood with a Gold card.
