It's a gample. The last 2 weeks I've been taking a Delta (instead of US like normal) flight from TPA - ATL - LIT with only a 45 minute layover in ATL. Week 1: plane held at the gate in TPA for 50 minutes. So, I got off the plane so I could at least spend the night in my apartment in Clearwater instead of having to sleep in the ATL airport. Flew back home to LIT the next morning. However, week 2 went well without any problems. I even had enough time to grab some Starbucks before the flight in ATL. So yeah, it's a gamble. Check out the next available flight times to ORD from ATL on ALL airlines in case you happen to miss your scheduled flight. Then, make sure you have the airlines preferred # saved in your cell.
