Exactly. Quite mirrors my experience too, and hence I suggested it. I've also found getting F seats to CGK much easier, and there is added incentive of not having to worry too much about the "EQV" nightmares that DPS faces with the 2-class/3-class roulette.

Of course if you tell them politely at check-in about the cause of your excess baggage, I would really hope and expect thm to be flexible about the excess baggage charges.
