I thought this was not just Germany but on all ex-UK routes (at least economy fares)? Only full Y fares are now changeable on the day of departure, all others are the same with not allowing that and a £30 change or upgrade penalty. I never look into business fares more expensive than I

But indeed, before this change YBH used to be changeable on the day of departure as far as I remember. So B and H have now got worse fare conditions, while everything cheaper has improved.
