Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport WITHOUT TRAFFIC. It has taken me up to an hour during heavy rush hour traffic to get to the hotel.

I don't know where Amazon is. If the address I googled is correct, it is on 2nd and Pike. That is about 6 blocks (5 blks for 7th to 2nd + 1 blk for Pine to Pike).

Good luck with your interview. Hotels in the downtown Seattle area are generally expensive. You should check with Amazon if they have a corporate rate you can use.

I concur with everything. The RC is quite nice as well. And agree this Hyatt exceeds the Westin. A couple of other points:

First, Seattle blocks are very walkable. Pikes is not exactly across the street, but easily walkable from the Hyatt. There was a clear police presence downtown and at Pikes during my stay, although it may have been beefed up as it was during the 100-year celebration for Pikes and shortly after a stabbing in the Pikes area.

Second, the Hyatt has a nice Chris' Ruth in house. (Charge to room.) There's also a Starbucks, but no room charge for that.
