I know people choose companies depending on the service provided by the airline, but one should also think about how they treat you when things come to worst. Austrian surely wouldn't make the tops on that list, and for this reason, whenever possible I try to avoid flying with them.

Although it's tempting to outperform in cynicism everyone here, I'm all with saviox on this one... Not even a reply?

Unfortunately, the answer is in the OP's own words: "whenever possible" he tries to avoid them, not always! He should write a letter to the AUA manager in Belgrade, attach receipts documenting his business with them (as implied in "I pay them a lot of money every week") and say bye-bye birdie for good! And here comes the most important part: Never, ever buy an OS ticket again! At any cost!

FWIW, more than half of my trips start out of CDG for many years now. However, I haven't been on an AF plane for more than 10 years... Last month (on a CDG-LYS trip), not only I flew on a combo of LH+LX (via MUC and ZRH) but had to stay 2 hrs more in ZRH in order to avoid taking the AF codeshare to CDG that LX was slyly attempting to sell in their website. And it cost me EUR150 more. That's very close to what I mean by "at any cost".
