I fly @104,000 miles per year (and have for the past 3 years), purely for pleasure to keep my EXP status. On my international trips, I spend the minimum days required for the lowest fare. If there is no minimum, I spend from 0-1 day. I usually spend about $8000 per year (airfares and hotels) and have about 92 segments when I reach EXP. This is my hobby and I usually travel alone. I plan on doing this for another 10 years at least.
