333's are scheduled. Sometimes you may find yourself in the unenviable position of having the scheduled 333 go tech and so if CX has no other 333 to replace it with, they will send a 33B or a 330 there instead. eventually Melbourne will (along with Sydney) go completely two-class with the 33B.
Thanks for the info! I suppose I will hope they do not change the aircraft before December since I used F miles and planned this route in F way in advance. And no, I will not get any sort of refund of miles since I used a lot of AS miles on a partner award...(on one leg from MEL one of us is in J and one of us is in Y on our F award because F was not available. but I hope that changes soon)
