I've never received a voucher, so I have no experience on redemption for a new ticket, and would appreciate any insights/experience offered.
Basically, I have 2 vouchers from USAir following a 23 hour mechanical delay for an international flight. The vouchers are on America West paper, but the enclosed letter states they are good for travel on USAirways or America West. I wish to purchase 2 international coach tickets, and apply the vouchers toward the total cost (it appears the vouchers would cover ~ half to the international fare).
My questions:
1. Is it possible to use these credits during an online ticket purchase, or do I have to use a telephone agent (or even airport agent)?
2. What procedures have others used to claim the credit?
3. Any pitfalls I need to look-out for?

It would depend if you have an e-voucher , or a paper voucher. Paper vouchers have to be mailed in - e-vouchers can be confirmed instantly over the phone thru Res.
