Yes, if there is a CL, then Gold/Plats get access which means access the breakfast provided there. And if there is no CL, then sometype of breakfast will be provided M-F. But there are a couple of caveats:

1. If a hotel is designated as a "Resort", then all bets are off. IOW, no breakfast has to be provided period.

2. The breakfast provided in most CLs tends to be a limited breakfast. Some hotels will refer to it as a "Healthy Start" breakfast if you were to purchase a similar one in the hotel restaurant.

3. Just because a hotel doesn't have to provide a full breakfast or any breakfast at all on the weekends, doesn't mean none of them do so. There are some out there that will provide breakfast on the weekends either automatically or if they are asked. (And some of them will provide full breakfasts on the weekends. ^)
