Anyone who would suggest that South America is "primitive" has not been to Argentina, Chile or Uruguay. These countries are very "European" - whatever that means to each of you. Northern South America is definitely more underdeveloped. At any rate, I would imagine that United and American pilots are, for the most part, of U.S. origin. BTW, if someone offers ME a job in Buenos Aires, I'm there!
