Also remember that money talks - if there is an alternate airport nearby, take a few trips to it and send copies of your receipts (and those of family, colleagues, etc.) to the airport manager the airport commission to show you are avoiding the problem airport until the issue is resolved.
I doubt that you will be missed because someone else will be there to purchase your seat. You guys are so full of yourselves sometimes. If you only heard what the airlines AND the airport managers say about the complaints.
