I was thinking that she could kick / pull on the seat in front of her if the person in front was fully reclined and she wasn't. As I recall, in current C the headrest isn't that far from the seat behind in full recline mode. But its also been a couple of years since I've had to do an international trip in C, so I may have forgotten how much space there is.

I still think one parent with the kid and one with a chance to sleep undisturbed makes more sense than both parents next to Miss HalfSwede, but that may just be because my wife and I find it more restful that way with our kids.
