This is my first post but since hubby and I have flown McCall Air twice, I thought I'd share our experience. We flew McCall last year on a hunting trip and then just a few months ago to Salmon on their backcountry breakfast flight. Both were on the C210.
I won't repeat the advice that everyone's given which is all pretty helpful and accurate. However, on both of our flights, they weighed each of us and our luggage/gear. The only other time I've had to be weighed before a flight was for a helicopter tour. Our flights were full and on this last one, there were a couple of rather hefty linebacker size men and one small size woman on the plane along with my husband and myself. We didn't get to choose where we would sit either.
On our last trip, the pilot gave the safety briefing in the terminal, not on the plane. We were also our own baggage handler although I think if your bags are too heavy to schelp, they've got people there to help you.
Frankly, I remember very little about the flights other than it was a little louder than I thought it'd be but the view was so much more riveting than I ever expected. Definitely bring a camera. Only the take-off and landing were a little bumpy.
Enjoy your flight!
