Ok so I'm booking a rewards stay in Maui for July. I want 4 nights so I can use the Hawaii sampler reward (then 3 nights in Kauai)... I searched for 4 nights and it wouldnt give me a stay with standard rewards. I got on the phone with Platinum desk (a calendar of what nights offer standard reward would be GREAT... come on marriott!!), platinum person told me he was showing 4 nights in a row Sunday - Thursday (checkout Thursday), but then it kept telling him "stay anytime" when he tried to book it, same thing it was doing to me.

So I tried a reservation Sunday - Tuesday and Tuesday - Thurdsay, interestingly enough I was able to make two 2 night reservations under "standard rewards", yet nobody at MR is able to combine this into one reservation without it bumping up to "stay anytime".

Seems like some shady practice going on here! Anyone seen this before?
