I called (moments before reading this post, coincidentally), but they would not accept an application over the phone. The rep offered to mail me an application that should arrive within 10 days.

I was impressed that my call was answered almost immediately after I dialed, save for a brief notice that the call may be recorded. No voice prompts of any time, and the rep was very professional and courteous. I wonder if this service continues after one receives the card.
