As long as the boarding process requires people to stand in long orderly lines, it's going to be a cattle call.

I don't think it's any better or worse than the legacy's, which basically has everyone get up out of their seats 5 minutes before pre-boarding starts to mob the gate so that pre-boarders and FFs have to fight there way to the front.

By the way, if WN did away with the long lines, I hope they consider the fact that that would create a major shortage of seats since all those people in line would now be trying to find a place to sit.
